Konnector Seated Variations: Creative Pilates Exercises Day 5
Konnector Seated Variations with the arms and legs increases the challenge of the original exercises. Try moving the arms either one at a time or switching at the same time. Notice how your stabilization changes with each variation. Add in the legs moving with the arms or in opposition of the arms.
Once the body is comfortable with these exercises, increase the difficulty by adding rotation. Rotation while moving the limbs in opposition of each other requires the transverse and obliques to engage in order to move the torso without losing the position on the long box. Challenge yourself to rotate from your core, instead of defaulting to your chest. Be cautious of any neck, back, shoulder or knee injuries. Start on a light spring.
