Konnector Long Box Variations 2
Konnector long box variations include extension work. On the Long Box, can be even more exciting when the Konnector is attached to your reformer. The Long Box extension series becomes more expansive with the Konnector, letting the user move the arms and legs at the same time, mimicking parts of the extension exercises in the Pilates Mat Series. The Konnector will change the feedback to the body by not allowing it to simply go along for the ride of the reformer. This takes the idea of dynamic to a greater level.
Try moving each limb in opposition (flexion into lengthening). Notice how the Konnector will try to move the torso, which asks the core to work harder in order to stabilize the back and the pelvis. Draw to the midline and focus on small movements first to understand the pull of the straps. Always start with a light spring to feel the movement. Be cautious of any neck, shoulder, back or hamstring injuries.
