Konnector Long Box Hamstrings
Konnector Long Box Hamstrings provides a moving challenge for the hamstrings, core and back. When the Konnector is added to the exercises, it provides more instability. The Konnector asks the body to stabilize and Konnect deeper. The added benefit is moving the legs separately, which provides more options within the same exercise. These exercises help the body to understand how to recruit the hamstrings without getting into the lower back.
In this exercise, the gray straps are held with the hands to shorten the length of the Konnector. The Third strap is also being used to hook around the back of the foot, so the strap does not come off. Start with both legs working together to feel the movement, all the while pressing the pelvic and pubic bones into the Long box. Engage the core up and away from the box and lengthen the spine. Increase the difficulty by moving one leg at a time, then both legs moving in opposition.
Be cautious of any neck, back, knee or hamstring injuries.
